We are all in T-
shirts, some in shorts, too much sun-
light, too few leaves this
unseasonable day.
We flaunt our familiar line-
aments, delved and pale
and mottled and na-
kedly unfamiliar.
We take the same chairs.
Once words begin to
flow the familiar becomes
familiar once more.
