No accumula-
tion last night; more to come this
afternoon, Christmas
Eve. It’s true patience
is a big part of this life.
Desiderantem
quod satis. The cheeks
of village girls glow when it
snows and my heart breaks
with longing. I know
it’s just flesh and blood rising
to the occasion.
Whatever works lasts,
but the beauty of it al-
ways gets the last word.
