THIS NEEDS WORK!
My love is a full
moon riding the summer day.
It is whiter white.
It is perfect and
round. No hint of a dark side
but you know it’s there.
And you don’t care. ‘I
love you, you complicate my
life’ I sing, knowing
the moon in the sky
on a summer day perfects
the ordinary
without meaning to.
Writing love poems to it
creates new muscles.
