It’s true, I’m only
as good as my last poem.
A Spring day offers
opportunities
galore. Can I rival the
new bird on the block?
The good in question
between the poem and me,
is something we share.
Old Companion, let’s
take the day off. Do what you
will. I’ll go shopping.

This is so timely! Love it! I’m taking the day off even before it begins. Thanks for such ethereal encouragement.
