In Plato’s myth of
the birth of Eros Lack fucks
Plenty at a fete.
Love contains, barely,
too much and not enough. I
sit with tea and scone
and wait. The page blank.
My daily assignation.
Love’s lack is a lack
of self. It’s too much
this nothing that Love seeks in
the page’s blank stare.
