My umbrella spun
around by spring gusts satu-
rated with cold rain.
I’m no longer aimed
toward the Bay. I follow
my umbrella up
the high street into
a well-lit convenience
store with the others.
Wittgenstein is right.
The self is what language shows.
I buy an ice cream.
